Stanney Fields Park is a vibrant, popular and diverse community resource.

The gardens are looked after by Peter, the Park Gardener.

Recent improvements

In 2013 three new ramps and a grind rail for thewheels park were installedThe Dell area  pathway has been resurfaced with spray and chip croxten path and a new pedestrian bridge over the brook was installed. Other improvements include seating, bins, picnic tables and soft landscaping.

The £75,000 project was been funded by Cheshire West and Chester Council and The Veolia Environmental Trust who awarded a grant of £25,000 through the Landfill Communities Fund (LCF). Landfill Tax is charged on waste sent to landfill: 6.8% of landfill tax supports projects in the vicinity through the LCF.
