Santa’s Little Helpers set to enjoy festive mini break in Neston

Neston Town Council recently received communications from the North Pole to confirm that a team from the ‘Wrapping Department’ had booked a mini-break to the historic town in a bid to use up their annual leave before Christmas.

The team of Elves are understood to have made arrangements with several Neston Town Centre shops and business to stay in their shop windows in a ‘Snow B and B’ style arrangement from Friday 17th November.

Assets and Events Manager for Neston Town Council, Claire Evans said “We’re delighted that the Elves have picked Neston to enjoy some quality down time and we can’t argue with their choice. We’ve such a fantastic blend of retail outlets, coffee shops and restaurants in addition to some wonderful Christmas events. However, it’s not all play for the Elves, some have agreed that visitors new and old to the town can come and see them in their Neston holiday homes in Neston’s first ever Elf Trail.

Visit each of the Elves at the named outlets, collect a stamp from their host and you could find yourself winner of a unique Family Gift Hamper at a grand prize draw at the Neston Victorian Christmas Festival on Saturday 2nd Dec. This isn’t just a competition for children, adults are positively encouraged to take part, after all grown-ups can totally relate to these Elves needing a break this time of year.”

The Elves will be staying at the following outlets:

  • Escape Beauty Salon
  • Neston Pet Supplies and Dog Grooming
  • My Gift Place
  • Hawk
  • Perfect Getaways
  • Claire House
  • Hallmark Card Carousel
  • Sue Ryder

Other outlets will be hosting Elves in a ‘Just for fun’ capacity, so keep your eyes peeled as you walk around the town.

Entry forms for the Neston Elf Trail are available from all of the participating outlets and Neston Town Hall. To be entered into the Prize draw, participants will need to have their form stamped by each of the outlets. All completed entries will be entered into a Prize draw, taking place after the Lights Switch on at 5pm on Saturday 2nd Dec 2017. The competition remains open until 3pm on the day of the festival.  The prizes are two Family Gift Hampers, comprised of unique goodies from the festival stallholders. Terms and Conditions can be found on www.neston.org.uk.

Entries can be posted in the Elf letterboxes in the Town Hall and My Gift Place.
