Little Actors Theatre is presenting a micro tour of small-scale venues and rural communities.
Shakespeare’s Dream– an accessible, interactive and entertaining introduction to the works of William Shakespeare. The play presents a combination of William Shakespeare’s language and storytelling, with a modern analysis and context for a younger audience. Using puppets and a little audience participation, the skilled professional actors tell the story of how Shakespeare wrote ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’. The play includes facts about the life and times of William Shakespeare as well as relevant historical references. Speculating on the inspiration behind ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’, we meet William Shakespeare mulling having writer’s block, with his lead actor Richard Burbage. William falls asleep and dreams up his next great work!

Survival – Funding
Little Actors has survived this far through the pandemic because of funding from The Arts Council, Neston Town Council, CWaC, Cllr Louise Gittins, Cheshire Community Foundation and other grant and donations from the Masons and Enritec. We are so grateful for the support so far but if we are to survive beyond the new year we need to raise more funding to sustain our charity through to the end of the pandemic. Any support, personal or business would be most welcome.
Download the Zoom app on your device and then send us an email ([email protected]) and we will add you to the invitation groups to the live streamed workshops. At the moment they are a bit ad hoc as our free lance actors are having to find other work but we will be creating a more regular schedule ASAP. Workshops so far include DramaTots, movement and fitness and youth theatre.
Everyone is most welcome and all of these activities are FREE to join in. Keeping well is so important at this time, and this includes your health and well-being and making sure your don’t feel isolated or lonely – so come and join us from the comfort of your own home. Details from [email protected] or call Samantha on 0151 336 4302.
