Elf Trail Terms & Conditions

  • The competition is being run by Neston Town Council, Town Hall, High Street, Neston, Cheshire CH64 9TR.
  • Stamps can be collected from participating businesses between 17th November 2017 and 2nd December 2017 at 3.00pm.
  • Completed entries must be posted into the post box in Neston Town Hall reception or My Gift Place by 3.00pm on Saturday 2nd December 2017 when the competition will close.
  • No responsibility is accepted for entries which are lost, corrupted, incomplete or for any failure to capture entry information. The entry must be made by the person entering the competition – entries sent through third parties, agencies or by automated means will not be accepted. It is the responsibility of entrants to inform Neston Town Council of any change of contact details.
  • Entry forms and contact details will be kept for the duration of the competition. Any entry drawn must have a completed stamp sheet in order to qualify for a prize. Any entries with duplicate stamps will not be entered into the prize drawer.
  • If the potential winner cannot be contacted or the prize notification is returned or is undeliverable, such potential winner forfeits all rights to any prize, and an alternate winner may be selected.  An unclaimed prize may not be awarded.  The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. As the prize may contain fresh produce participants are encouraged to be at the switch-on, at 5.00pm on Saturday 2nd December on the Market Square, for the prize draw.
  • Neston Town Council shall not be responsible for the condition of any fresh produce due to the late collection of any prize.
  • Neston Town Council will have the right to publicly disclose the name of the winners and their town of residence.
  • Neston Town Council does not endorse any prize supplied by a third party nor does it endorse the third party supplier. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied by any third party connected with this competition.
  • Neston Town Council reserves the right to provide a substitute prize of similar value should the need arise. The payment of all costs and expenses involved in claiming a prize are the responsibility of the winner.
  • Neston Town Council shall not be responsible for damages, losses or liabilities of any kind, including without limitation, direct, indirect or consequential loss or damages arising out of taking part in the competition or in relation to the prize draw.
  • Neston Town Council’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. Entry implies acceptance of these terms and conditions as final and binding. Entries which are not in accordance with the terms and conditions will be disqualified.
  • The prize draw will be governed by English law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
