Town Council Supports Neston Village Fair

Neston Town Council has assisted the Village Fair Committee with a grant towards essential items for the much-loved annual event.

Organiser Lynne Vaughan explains: “The generous grant from Neston Town Council towards the set-up costs of the Fair has paid for Elliot Loo Hire and also enhancements to our PA system so that the sound reaches the whole of Comrades’ Field. The Neston Village Fair Committee is most grateful for the support of the Town Council to help us fund this very successful family fun event and the continuing support of Councillors past and present.

Our Fair is now in its 14th year, the theme this year is ‘Musicals’. We have many attractions on the day, over 56 stalls of all kinds and entertainment throughout the afternoon. The Neston Talent Showcase will feature a range of talented young people, from 5 to 18 years; not to be missed!

Neston Village Fair enables local good causes and charities to have a fun way of gaining much needed funds while the folk who attend can have an all-age family fun day out. The Fair is non-profit making and many local businesses have also sponsored various aspects of the day.

At 50p entrance fee, unchanged for a number of years, this must surely be the best bargain of the summer! We hope that many deserving causes will be helped,
that you will see youngsters performing who will be famous in a few years, that a great time will be had by all – and that the sun will shine!”

Neston Village Fair will be held on Saturday 6th July 2013.
