Did you know?
When were there swimming baths in Parkgate?
Two large open-air baths were built in 1923, by A.G. Grenfell, Headmaster of Mostyn House School, at the northern end of the Parade, fed by the tide, and open to the public. They closed during World War II, reopened until they closed in 1950 due to river silting.
