The Redevelopment
The construction contractors have informed the Council that from Monday, 8 February there will be between five and seven deliveries of construction materials to the redevelopment site per week. Due to the size of the vehicles involved (large, articulated lorries) an alternative vehicle route to the site will be needed.
Route onto site:
Liverpool Road, Ladies Walk, left onto Raby Road, right onto Tannery Lane, right onto Brook Street to access the site.
Route off site:
Right onto Brook Street, right into High Street to Liverpool Road.T
hese deliveries will not be undertaken at peak times.
This frequency and scale of deliveries is anticipated to last for approximately 14 weeks.The Highway Authority has been consulted and has approved this routing plan for all vehicles that cannot physically reach the site via any other route. They will also be monitoring the effect of construction traffic using this route during this phase.
